Naruto Timeline: Yuemaru Azuki

Recap: A few months later life for the Akatsuki was getting boring. So Hidan and Kakuzu suggested that they play true or dare. Azuki, worrying about if they were going to get caught by Leader-sama, asking just were where they going to play. Deidara suggested that they play in his and Sasori’s room. So the Akatsuki head to Deidara and Sasori’s room. 30 minutes into the game Azuki still hadn’t been called on so she thought if she acted like she wasn’t there she wouldn’t called on but her mind changed when Hidan called on her.

“Truth or dare?” he asked.

“Uh…dare...?”

“Being brave huh? Well…I dare you to go skinny dipping with Kisame.”

Kisame took Azuki to a nearby lake. Azuki didn’t say a word the whole way there. When they reached the lake Kisame sighed and walked over to a group of trees on the right side. Azuki watched him walk to the trees.

“I can’t believe this. I’m going to kill Hidan when I get back.” Azuki thought as she shook herself out of the stare.

She walked to a big tree surrounded by little bushes on the left. She changed slowly hoping that Kisame would be done and would already be in the water when she was through. She was done in about three minutes. Before she and Kisame left Azuki was smart enough to grab two towels for the bathroom. She wrapped herself in the towel and walked out from behind the tree.

She walked over to the shore, scanning the water for Kisame.

“Kisame?” Azuki called out.

“Hm?”

“I…um…turn around if you’re facing me…” Azuki didn’t hear water splashing so she guessed that he wasn’t facing her. “I can trust Kisame…can’t I?”, she asked herself, taking off her towel quickly. She tossed it just behind her, she wanted the towel to be close enough so that she could reach it if she wanted it and she didn’t want the towel to get wet. She almost ran into the water, trying to stay in the shallow part without showing anything.

“Don’t worry.” called out Kisame. “I’m not a pervert like Hidan.” Azuki heard splashing, Kisame was just a few yards infront of her. “I can’t believe he’d do this again.”

Azuki blinked, “He’s done this before?”

“He dared Deidara to sneak up on Konan and…” Kisame’s voice trailed off.

Azuki was twitching. “He’s sooo dead when I get back.” Azuki said.

Kisame smiled to himself. “You know he’s immoral.”

Azuki sighed, “Oh well. I can still hurt him can’t I?”

Kisame laughed softly. “Yeah, I guess.”

Azuki’s shoulders were getting cold so she walled into deeper water. “Uh…it sure is nice out.” Azuki said shyly.

Kisame looked up at the sky. “Yeah. It’s not to cold either.” Kisame replied.

Azuki looked down at the water. “Oh I’m so glad the moon-light’s not making the water clear!” she thought. She looked up at Kisame. He seemed to be thinking the same thing. Kisame looked at Azuki. She looked away, blushing. Kisame took a step forward. Azuki backed up, frightened. Kisame stood there, looking at Azuki with worried eyes. “I…um…”-Azuki bit her bottom lip-“I’m sorry…I don’t want you to think that I’m afraid of you…you’re a really nice guy!”

Kisame blushed bright red. “T-thanks…”


Kisame and Azuki stayed at the lake for a half hour, talking and laughing. Kisame finally said that they should probably get back. Azuki agreed and they headed back to the Akatsuki hide-out.  When they walked into the cave Hidan greeted Azuki with a smirk.

“Have fun you two?”

Azuki eyes were filled with rage. “HIDAN!!!” She pulled a kunai out of her pack and ran after Hidan. “I’M GOING TO KILL YOU!!!”

Kisame shook his head and walked to his room. When Kisame walked into his room Itachi was siding on his bed.

“What’s going on out there?”

“Oh nothing, Azuki’s just trying to kill Hidan.”
